MSJ Photography was found by Gerry Kong. Had wide experiences in photography. Currently own a studio at Jalan Dalapan, Lido. For more info on MSJ, do log on to http://msjmedia.blogspot.com. As part of the team, this year we had 6 models, 34 participants, 4 hair stylists, 3 makeup artists, 1 videographer and 5 team instructors namely myself, Gerry Kong, Jackson Lim, Samuey Choy and Felix.

The night before the workshop, Samuel and i overnight at Gerry’s studio to help out for the final preparation but in the end, Samuel who done the most part. I just very tired and sleep early. The next morning, we woke up around 4am. Grab our things then head to gathering point at City Mall.

After registration and ice breaking session, we head to Borneo Kellybays on a 40 seat Skyzone bus and 4 personal cars. We stopped by Mengkabong Bridge for few shoots. Then we proceed our journey. Upon reaching Kellybays, we need to ride a wooden raft powered by engine to cross the brackish water to the other side.

After having our breakfast, we start our lesson by Gerry. All participants were divided into 5 groups and each of it will have one instructors. While the models were getting ready, Gerry start photography lesson. After that, we head to the beach for outdoor shooting. The sun was just perfect to burn our skin. Nevertheless, it is good for outdoor photo shooting.

After lunch, we continue our lesson, but the whether was not at our side, sky started to rain, so no outdoor photo shoot as well as sunset shoot, we just do some indoor shooting. Around 6pm, we head back to Kota Kinabalu. Although it’s very tiring, but worth the price as we were having so much fun and get to know new friends. Special dedicated to Borneo Kellybays' owner, Mr Stephen, Canon Marketing, Gcut Saloon, Investline, Iro Iro Cosmetic and Street 2. For this event, MSJ will be having an exhibition on 24 April - 24th May 2010 where participants had the chance to show their photo and might sell it.
